Overview

Rovio released the original Angry Birds on the App Store on December 11, 2009. Angry Birds Chrome brought that formula to browsers in 2011. The current build retains Chrome-branded loading and menu art as well as the HTML-era GWT and PlayN technology used by that web edition.

The episode menu combines selected chapters from the original game, including Poached Eggs, Mighty Hoax, and Danger Above, with Seasons sets such as Season's Greedings. It is an archived Chrome web snapshot, not a complete copy of every mobile update, later sequel, or commercial service.

Each level gives you a fixed queue of birds and a structure protecting one or more pigs. Clear every pig before the birds run out. Direct hits, falling blocks, and chain reactions add score, while unused birds help push the total toward the level's three-star thresholds.

Birds do not all behave alike. Some rely on impact alone, while others have a mid-flight power. Read the bird order before shooting, then match the launch angle and ability timing to the structure rather than repeating the same arc.

Before you play

  • Zoom out and inspect the entire structure and bird queue before the first launch; one planned collapse can be worth more than several direct hits.
  • Adjust both angle and pull distance. A full-power shot is not always best when you need to drop a bird onto a support or enter a narrow gap.
  • Aim low at load-bearing joints when possible. Gravity can turn one broken support into damage across several blocks and pigs.
  • Wait for debris to settle before launching again. A sliding beam or rolling stone can still reach a pig and save the next bird.
  • Use a mid-flight power only when its timing improves the path or impact. Red has no active flight power in this build, so an extra click does not help its shot.
  • Three stars depend on score, not simply clearing the level. Destruction points and unused-bird bonuses can make the difference after every pig is gone.

Known limitations

  • A cold first visit downloads many image, audio, and level assets, so the illustrated loading screen can remain visible for a while.
  • The archived build preserves Chrome-era account, purchase, and promotional buttons; those legacy online services are separate from the playable levels and may no longer respond.

FAQ

Can I play Angry Birds online on this page?

Yes. Open Play to start the archived HTML5 web build. The current route reached the main menu, episode selection, and Poached Eggs 1-1, where a mouse-drag launch completed the first target. This limited check does not claim that every legacy online service still works.

Which version of Angry Birds is this?

It is an archived build of Angry Birds Chrome, the browser edition introduced in 2011 from the original 2009 slingshot game. Its menus and assets are Chrome-branded and use the web edition's GWT and PlayN technology.

Is this the complete 2009 mobile game?

No. The build combines selected original chapters with several Angry Birds Seasons sets. It should not be treated as every mobile update, a later sequel, or a complete catalogue of paid features.

How do I control Angry Birds Chrome?

Left-click and drag the bird to set angle and power, then release to launch. Click once during flight to use a special power when the current bird has one. Use the wheel, arrow keys, or on-screen buttons to zoom.

What are the Season's Greedings bonus passwords?

In the Angry Birds Chrome edition, enter 11155666 for Bonus Level 1, 23334441 for Bonus Level 2, and 33321999 for Bonus Level 3 at the password screens after the 25 Season's Greedings levels.

How do I earn three stars?

Three stars come from reaching the level's score thresholds. Target supports, let chain reactions finish, and preserve birds where possible because remaining birds add a completion bonus.
