Is Plus the same game as Super Heroes?
They are separate versions. Plus is the 1999 PGM update commonly called version 119; Super Heroes changes character and combo details.

Overview
IGS released this PGM arcade Plus edition in 1999, commonly identified as version 119. It builds on the first game and is distinct from Super Heroes and Knights of Valour 2.
The roster includes the Five Tiger Generals, Zhuge Liang, Diao Chan and Zhang Liao. Plus adds Magic Zhang Fei and White Armour Huang Zhong. Direct access to hidden fighters depends on cabinet settings.
You can move into the depth of the scene as well as left and right to avoid being surrounded. Some items are restricted to particular fighters, while branching paths and secret rooms affect which supplies you can collect.
Controls
- Move / A / B
- Original arcade controls: directions move, A attacks and confirms, and B jumps. Tap forward twice to run, or press Down+B to crouch.
- C / D
- C opens the item wheel. Choose an item with directions, then use it with D.
- Item pages
- Press B with the item wheel open to switch pages. With it closed, B jumps again.
- A+B
- Press together for an escape attack that costs health.
- A+B+C
- With at least one power stock, press together to enter burst mode. Burst moves vary by fighter.
Before you play
- Arrange enemies on one side and leave room to move in depth before committing to attacks. A combo facing one way leaves your back open to enemies on the other side.
- Learn where key items sit on both pages before a fight. If an item is restricted to another fighter, leave it for a teammate who can carry it.
- Weigh the health cost of A+B when surrounded. Use ordinary movement when safe and preserve life for later bosses.
- Learn one fighter’s reach and landing position first. Magic Zhang Fei and White Armour Huang Zhong have different moves from their normal counterparts.

Some items can only be carried by certain fighters. In a multiplayer game, leave them for a teammate who can use them.
